About Us
It all began in 2021 when my daughter was kidnapped by CPS. I had no idea that our government was involved with such disgusting practices. After I realized the size of this problem I began my quest to never again let a child be kidnapped by CPS. CPS Breaking News was born from the need to educate and inform about these issues, offering up-to-date news and insights into the world of child protective services. We pride ourselves on delivering crucial information, promoting awareness, and striving for systemic change.
Meet our team
Behind every service we provide is a dedicated team of professionals, each bringing their unique expertise and enthusiasm to our business.
Tiff
Tiff is an investigative community advocate and policy strategist focused on constitutional protections for families across Virginia.
In her role as Legal Redress Chairman for Winchester, Frederick, and Clark she works directly with residents to document constitutional grievances, prepare administrative complaints, and navigate remedies when government actors exceed their authority.
That frontline redress work informs her policy advocacy and gives her a clear view of how statutory gaps and administrative practices translate into real-world harms for parents and children.
On the reform CPS/foster-care legislation committee, Tiff brings evidence-driven proposals to the table—advocating for improved oversight, clearer due-process safeguards, and better transparency in agency decision-making.
She combines case review, community testimony, and statutory analysis to craft reforms designed to protect families while remaining practically implementable.
Tiff expands her reach as host of The Tiff and Punisher Show, a podcast that pairs firsthand accounts with expert interviews and legislative explainers.
The show amplifies stories from affected families, spotlights promising policy solutions, and equips listeners with concrete steps to pursue redress and influence reform.
Tiff’s work is community-first: investigative, document-based, and relentlessly focused on translating constitutional principles into meaningful protection for families.
Gunner
Gunner is an investigative legal reporter who brings courtroom records, administrative files and FOIA disclosures into the public light.
With knowledge in federal case filings and civil-rights reporting, he specializes in translating dense legal documents—motions, hearing transcripts, memoranda of understanding—into rigorous, accessible investigations that reveal how policy and practice affect real families.
On The Gunning for CPS Podcast, Gunner conducts deep, evidence-based interviews with whistleblowers and parents, pairing firsthand accounts with meticulous document review.
His reporting emphasizes verification: every claim is traced to court dockets, public records or primary sources before publication.
That discipline allows him to identify patterns of procedural error, potential civil-rights violations, and points where reform is most urgent.
Gunner’s work aims to inform both the public and policymakers: clear explainers for parents navigating the system; reproducible research for attorneys and advocates; and accountability reporting for communities.
He covers hearings, files public-records requests, and builds timelines that make complex cases understandable.
Follow his reporting and podcast for actionable analysis and persistent watchdog journalism on CPS and family-court systems.
Brenda
Brenda combines deep experience with prison systems and frontline CPS advocacy. She knows the correctional policies, investigates how incarcerations affect family stability and child-welfare outcomes, and helps parents and advocates prepare redress packages and reentry plans.
On The Bring Back Brenda Show, Brenda pairs firsthand accounts with policy analysis to expose harmful practices, spotlight successful reentry supports, and push for reforms that keep families intact whenever possible.
